Unknown Sailing Ship - Further details

For all those on the trip. I have assumed for gas planning purposes that everybody will have gas for day 1 and for two dives.

For those that are Tech 1 qualified this will mean two sets of doubles (18/45) and enough deco gas for two dives. For the Tech 2 types its two stages, one set of doubles, and sufficient deco gas for two dives (50% and O2).

Currently I have not had any confirmations from either Rich Walker or Devon Robb, so are you guys coming or not?, if not remember you commited earlier on and therefore would owe for your share of the boat.

We have one part timer for later in the week - Ricardo who will be joining us from Portugal, so we need to put some gear together for him - we will need 2 x doubles, and deco stages - 50% and O2, and some stage regs.

More to follow later, please make sure that you keep a close eye on this part of the board from now on.

Andy

Gas etc

All

Just to confirm that everybody is turning up with sufficient gas for day 1, so for those of you doing Tech 1 type dives that will be the following:

2 x Doubles (12's) 18/45 (no 15's or bigger)
2 x stages 50%

And for the Tech 2 types

1 x doubles (12's) 18/45 (nothing bigger)
2 x stages 50% or 1 x Ali 80 (enough for the deco)
2 x stages O2 or 1 x 7 (enough for the deco)

Based on this and having an average of 10 divers the total cost for the gas for the week, assuming we dive most days will be just under 150 UKP per person. If we are fortunate enough to do every dive/every day (9 dives) we will need to top up our supply locally.

I have an AL80 of 18/45 (195bar) if someone wants to use that and bring along an AL80 of 50% for me instead.

Otherwise I am going to have to dump it and fill it with 50%!

Regards

Should have put a smilie on the end.

Anyone got an AL80 they can fill with 50% and you can use my 18/45 for the first day?

do not worry we will sort this out, I will bring all of mine/JAG's stages which are in my garage, there is enough, and anyway you should only need a 7 :-)
