Well I promised that I would post when I got my new suit from Hydrotech - given that they have not done any cave cut suits here before.

Well, I'm impressed - seriously impressed.

The suit fits - just like it should. It came on the promised date, with the promised specification. A small problem with the seals meant that Hydrotech paid an employee overtime to change them on demand.

Not much more to say really - which is as it should be but if I were doing it again I'd be happy to return to Hydrotech - which as we have been short of a reliable UK supplier is good to know.

Despite what some would have you believe there is no mystery to measuring a DUI Cave Cut suit - just follow the very comprehensive and idiot proof instructions supplied by DUI and hey presto pefect!

DUI do at times make mistake but in my experience always put them right at their cost - couldn't ask for more from a manufacturer.

I had a very bad experience with Otter on the other hand :-( and their suits are no comparison to DUIs - as is usually the case you get what you pay for!

I bought mine from SDS, but took it to Hydrotech to have some warranty work done after about 18 months.

It was all fine.

Did have a slight hiccup with a new zip, H'tech put it in upside-down, despite them saying that they always put it in the way it came out, anyway they swapped it around quickly and without any problems.

Hi Gledders,

What spec did you order? Did you go direct to Hydrotech or through a dealer?

Hiya.

I ordered a cave cut signature suit, with classic zip, si-tech valves and oldstyle codura overlays - straight from Hydrotech - Andy came down to my office to measure me and discuss options.

As it's cave/wkpp stylee, he'll probably guess, but did you specify Turbo soles over rock boots?

D'oh, just re-read your 1st post - you already have the suit.
