Gavin Scooters in the UK

Hi Guys,

I've just had the go-ahead from George to supply Gavins scooters and spares in the UK. I'll be putting an order together over the next week or so for stock spares, so if you need anything adding, just let me know.

Cheers,

Rich

Rich

That's good news. I'll probably need a few bits and pieces to keep in my stock (spring washers, screws etc.). I'll put a little list together and let you know.

Congrats rich.

Random question here, Im told the nominal static load current on a long body is about 16A. Does anyone know what the peak draw is and what the motors are rated to?

Question Spares...

Hi,

if you were going to put a Gavin spares kit together what would you recommend to put in it?

Cheers,

Mark.

As far as I know, it's a 400W continuous duty motor, so 16A would be about right. A 1.5 ohm load (like wot the burn tester is) will draw 16A at 24V, so that confirms that too.

Peak draw would be upwards of 40A with a locked rotor - this is just an estimate.

Is that any help?

If Rich is keeping stuff in stock, that menas you can cut down on the spares you need. I would say relays, catches, blade(s), trigger cable and reed switch would be the main spares to keep.
