![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Does anyone have any links, diagrams specifications & instructions on building pressure pots? I think there was a diagram on rebreatherworld. It was a year or two ago. Darleen might have been the author.I am looking at building one to test large canisters, camera housings etc. I think it used a failed cylinder (with the top cut off) as a base. Janos

| Padawan learner | I made my own pressure vessel (to fool a dive computer into thinking it was being used) out of a big jug half filled with water and a cycle inner tube. Worked ok but only went to a depth of about 6m.

I did some stress/pressure and thickness requirement calculations for it so in conclusion, it will be built out 12" Sch 40 316SS pipe with GTAW as the welding process. I will post pics as soon as its built. A |
