Heser LED backup lights

Having seen one of these bad boys in action, this is my first close look and first impressions are good!

They have the more robust feel of the Photon's, with the added security of a 2nd O-Ring, deeply knurled handle and a heat dissipation tube inside.

I hope to put this to the test along side the scout very soon but in the meantime, here's some pic's to whet your appetites!

Very cool. A bit pricy, but the cool factor is high.

3xC cells 1.5v non regarchable i.e same as your scout/photon ect......IF however OW scuby divers are using these for their main lights then NiMh would be an option to be used with the pellets!

As you all know, we don't use re-chargable cells in our backups!

Oh and did I mention the 2 day burntime?

The cost for you guys across the pond is $190 + shipping

Ahaaa, so the difference to the photons as that they have a heat diss tube and a pack of catalysts for rechargeables?

Add this to the burntime, build quality, free spares, cost and light termperature....I think we have a well rounded competitor.

Although I'll hold judgement until it's been proven in real conditions, but first impressions are good!
