| New Member | I've just bought a JCS stainless worm drive / jubilee clip for a 3 ltr pony. I quizzed the guy about the JCS clips and got the following response "the JCS is fully stainless and suitable for marine applications and is manufactured to be as good as they can possibly make it both functionally and in appearance. They are not cheap but they are the best. We have a customer in Spain who regularly orders JCS hose clips from us for his diving equipment." STAGONSET - Online Stainless Steel Fasteners |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bob I bought some a while back for my second-hand Pro 14 (bought without hardware). I had real trouble finding anywhere on the internet that sold the marine grade 316 (A4) clips. Most places that sold stainless clamps were the regular 304 (A2) when you looked harder - a cursory look at the links so far suggests that’s still mainly the case (could be wrong - didn’t look too hard this time). Not sure how much it matters, but I got it into my head that the 316 ones were the right tool for the job. In the end, I contacted Jubilee Clips themselves who put me in touch with my nearest distributor and I bought from them direct (they had to order them specially). See: Contact us - Contact - L. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can get away with 304 stainless for diving applications. Look at the bolts holding your twinset together- I bet they are A2 and not A4. Normal stainless jubilee clips are used all over the place in boatyards etc. |
