| Jock Exley | Just match the motor connectors to the battery connectors or am I missing your point? These slide into each other, so it's no major drama if it don't match that of your buddies.....as you can just swap them around. Obviously put the red wire in the red connector and the black in the black! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Just match the motor connectors to the battery connectors or am I missing your point? The connectors are for charging the battery. When my scooter got slightly damp (in salt water), the battery pack wiring and existing charging connectors were toasted. Not having a source of the Powerpole connectors at the time, I substituted conventional spade terminals on the battery pack and charger as a short-term fix to let me charge the battery. In other words, I don't have a pair of connectors set up to match against.I now have a source for the connectors and was going to put them back onto the battery and charger (so both would be "standard"). The original connectors were "paired" and I was planning to go back to this...provided I can find out what the normal "paired" arrangement is...because I forgot to write it down. Leaving them as seperate connectors isn't a problem...until it comes to trying to plug them into a set that is paired. OTOH, I guess that until I hit that problem, it doesn't really matter.Quote: Obviously put the red wire in the red connector and the black in the black! Yeah...that would help!![]() Iain |
