| Doing It Caverkevin | Zeuxo scooters I have seen the threads for lists of Gavin and X scooter owners. I got wondering how many Zeuxo scooter owners there are out there. We just got our two new ADV-14's from SUEX in Italy this weekend. So I thought I would start a Zeuxo owners list. 1.Kevin Jones - ADV-14 2.Cris Jones - ADV-14 3. 4. 5. 6. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Ciao kevin, I don't own one yet but the ADV-14 will be my next purchase as soon as I have the €€€! I used it for a 600m/2 stage penetration in the Parolini cave and loved it. Especially loved hauling it to the cave and back. |

| Doing It Caverkevin | Ciao Tanto!! You got it! With the size and weight of these little guys. They are simple to carry and transport. Did a dive with Tony and Alessandro at Fontanazzi last month. The ADV-14's were easy to get to the water, and that is not easy!!! I think those guys had three stages when they zipped pass Cris and I on their way to Posso 2000. I tried to catch some good video, but they were hauling boogie. So you are going small. I talked to Nick and he wants a ADV-33 lead acid scooter. I guess he wants a big scooter to match his big rebreather I told him he should just go for a 42 amp hour scooter and look really cool!! Ciao Ciao!! | Doing It Caverkevin | Ok, here is how I built the tow cords for our Zeuxos. Materials needed, A large eye clip, 2 meters of 4mm or 5mm climbing cord (anything with a diamond braid outer sheath), knife/scissors and a lighter. Cut the cord to desired length, for me this is 2 meters. Dress the ends of the cord with the lighter so they look nice and not bushy. Pass one of the running ends of the cord through the holes between the trigger handle and shroud. Then put a simple over hand knot in the very end of the cord. (this is the stopper knot for the next knot) To describe how to tie this knot I am going to use right and left. For this to make sense, the scooter would have to be on the left. The long side of the cord out to your right Next, with the knotted end, make two wraps over & around the long side of the cord (end on other side of holes, with out knot on the end) left, towards the handle. When you exit the second wrap with the knotted end, pass it right, over both parts of the cord. Make one last wrap over & around the unknotted side of the cord. Passing the knot to the left and up through the hole between the first set of wraps and this last wrap. Just work all the slack out of the wraps, away from the knot, until the wraps are tight around the cord and knot is tight against the wraps. Pass the running end of the cord through the eye of the clip. Pass the running end of the cord through the two holes next to the left handle. Use a bowline knot to secure this end of the cord. I also used these sliding wraps with the small clip on the nose of the scooter for the other tow cord. With this the clip is inside the loop. Then just a simple over hand knot on the running end to keep it from slipping out from underneath the hose clamp. Hope this helps!! Cheers!!
