inner tube

Howdy Y'all!!!!

I need to get another nice, big truck tire inner tube or two, so I can make some rubber bands for my 80's. Now that I live in a big city, I don't have too many agricultural stores that I can shop at with a nice selection of tubes.

Does any body know the size numbers for a good tube for cutting into rubber bands for 80's? Maybe also a online site where these tubes could be ordered?

Cheers!!

Kevin

If i was you i'd hang around dodgy bars on the edge of town and get friendly with some of the truckers there. There is bound to be one called 'Big Pierre' or 'Trucker Claude' or something like that, I'm sure he can sort you out

Stage wrap? I think it's just a cover story. Bet ya getting your kit ready for T-1 (tube 1) http://thedecostop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19468

On the other hand there are other means for securing your regs to AL80's

I was thinking about asking over there, but I saw the writing on the wall. Besides.....I already have my double super secret solo scooter beer drinkin' tubing cert. I don't follow the lame open water tubing battles

Really.........kinda partial to inner tube. Plus figured this was bit better place to ask. With this board having more of a European flavor and me not knowing if there is different sizing of tubes between the US and Europe.

I do have to give you a call really soon. I gave Cris' Vyper mount to one of our French friends and told her I had another at home. Guess what! I did not and I am in big trouble now!!!

Cheers!!!

Kevin,

Are you sure you need truck inner tubes? I've never been a big fan of inner tubes, but I'd guess that motorcycle tubes would be closer to what you need for an 80. May from a good sized street bike?

Hey Tobin!!!

I just cut up a free, old, knackered bike tube that I got street racer named Grand Yves. Motor bike tubes are nice for the 40's and 7 liters. A touch tight for a 80's. Plus the bigger rim of a truck, I can get more rubber bands. Semi truck tire sized tubes are good for going around the body of a Gavin.

The bummer is I don't live any more where I can just walk into Tractor Supply or Quality Farm and Fleet and just grab a tube off the shelf, look at it and buy it. I am going to have to order the tube and I would like to get it right the first time.

Cheers!!

Kevin
