| Doing It Caverkevin | Just a couple extra double enders for me. Just in case I get on someone else's scooter and the tow cord is too short. A couple 4" double end clips usually get the scooter out far enough for my tastes. Plus a couple extra trigger pins. Maybe one of those thumb loops on the light. After 7 years I still have not needed a thumb loop. Would not worry about the liftbag. If you have a horse die on you that bad, leave it in the cave. Then come back with the liftbag, fresh charge on the other sccoters and full cylinders. Cheers!! Kevin |

| Pinoy ako pinoy | We carry a lift bag per team (just in case) in ocean but are resigned to the fact that if one leaks over blue water it will have to be cut away and lost (probably for good). As Kevin said spare double enders can extend tow cords and spare pins in wetnotes for the careless (I haven't lost one in the water in 3 years of scootering). You may also consider a leash for towing if your tow cord is not long enough to do the job (if you are using anything other than a short body or have short arms) Cheers, Graham |

| New Member | Hi.. New at this forum.. People normally use lead to get a neautral boyancy on theyr scooter. Incase of a flooding, it will get rather heavy. I wonder if using some other material would be better, incase of a flooding. How about wood, doesnt weight to much(but mabye enough), normally you dont need to much weight in it to make it neautral. Wood takes much more place inside scooter, wich in a flood case will take more space then the water, and therefor make it less negative (much more easy to handle). Anyone that think this is a bad idea vs lead ? PS... I suck at english :D RogerB Last edited by RogerB; June 29th, 2006 at 09:35 PM. |

| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Roger, your english is better than my Norwegian ![]() What about stuff like spares, trigger pins and those pitch screw things ? Take those or not bother ? Or are we talking about in the water, in which case I will crawl back under my rock. (Taking care not to damage my new drysuit ).
