| Moderator | Bum link, sorry John. When I try to 'Save as.' it comes up as an htm page, and if I click on the link it just hangs there... Editted, no it doesn't!! Just watching it now! Excellent, looks like you had a right laugh.

| GUE Instructor/DIRX Moderator | We did 4 dives in Ressel, 2 in Landenouse, 2 in Trou Madame, and 1 in St George (Rick and I also did 2 support dives for Andy and Bob, where we took their stages and Scooters off them in the cavern zone in Ressel and St George) It was a great trip, I'm sure we'll put together a proper report, and I've got another 4 hours of video to trawl through and try and edit together. Thanks J

Cant wait for the report (and some more video?) How was the water level at Landenouse and Trou Madame? Thx! Anne-Marie Water level was Very high apparantly in trou Madame (I've never dived there before to compare), and we had 10 rungs showing in Landenouse, however the following day there were apparantly 12 rungs showing. Vis was superb in Landenouse, Trou Madame and St George, but a bit milky in Ressel. J

If we were diving anything bigger than just a set of twin-12s then I think a rope would have been a good plan.It will changes in 4 weeks but I'm still building courage to jump in there.... probably going to need a tackle ![]() Have fun, I can't wait to get back there (Early august is looking good at the moment) J

Things we learnt:Would be great to hear some of your comments about shooting video in cave and what you learned. It's looks like you guys had fun! KLJ A video dive halves the distance you can swim into the cave The model(s) have to swim much much much slower than they would normally Bouyancy control is a right arse when both your hands are dealing with a great big housing with lights on. Try and get your video rig as near to neutral as possible, mine was somewhat negative and was a sod to deal with. White balance is important, I used the back of rick's tanks to white balance the shots at the beginning of the week, and then kept that setting. You really don't actually see anything of the cave while you are running the video, On my rig I have an external monitor and that's pretty much all I saw for most of the dives with the camera. That's all I can think of for now. J
