Exploration reflectors...

Hi,

where can I buy an Exploration Goodman handle/reflector with the attached delrin thumb hole for use while scooter diving? I have trouble switching the light head to my driving hand due to my dry gloves with a regular reflector.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Mark.

These things are brilliant. Not just for scootering either. I use it all the time when I switch hands to adjust buoyancy, do shut down drills etc.

Very neat and simple bit of kit.

You could always make a thumb loop from a piece of stainless and attach it to the goodman screw!

But if you have bags of cash....Third item down!

I saw a bunch of these for sale at EE the last time I was there. Some of them have the Tekna mini knives too. Drop them an e-mail.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info chaps.

I have an old reflector/lighthead that I can chop a thumb-loop sized section from if the internal diameter is large enough to fit my drygloved thumb.

I guess the thumb loop is just an off cut of the delrin used for the reflectors anyway.

Regards,

Mark.

I requested my new H light to come with the Explorer handle. Works like a charm for all situations where you want to handle the light in the right hand.

I agree with Rich, a really handy addition that makes things much slicker and easier even when not scootering.

I got a piece of aluminum strip from B&Q (2mm thick, 3cm wide, 1m long) then bent it around something roughly thumb in a dry-glove diameter. I then drilled it and used the same screw that holds the bottom of the Goodman handle together to hold tis in place too (snug against the side of he light body)..........if you follow that.

It does need to have a reasonable depth (3cm or so to make a tube rather than a loop) to be able to control the light with just your thumb

Basically, it is very quick and easy to make one yourself!

Cheers

Chris B
