![]() | Visiting Italy... weather? Hey guys and gals since this is an International site... my wife and I have been wanting to go visit Italy for a couple of years now. we found a decent deal to go in January and was wondering if any locals could give us an idea of what to expect weather wise we will be visiting Rome, Venice, Florence. Unfortunantly we will not have time for diving so water info won't help Thanks Ken Hyatt |

![]() ![]() ![]() | January is the coldest month of the year here in Italy, but usually dry, no rain. If you can choose I'd recommend early february, which is usually dryer and can be warmer. Temperatures can be mild in rome and florence, anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees max, but cold in the night; colder in Venice, I'd say from zero to 10 max if sunny. Feb is also the best month for the caves in the north, best viz. |
