Cool Total Sun Eclipse in Egypt

Today, March 29, at 12:38 PM, we witnessed a total sun eclipse at Saloum in Egypt. It was really magnificent. Temperature started to drop rapidly by around 12 degrees C.

I'll get to see one eventually. I spent most of my formative years waiting for the UK total eclipse (we don't get many!!) in 1999, booked time and accommodation in the best area to see totality, only to have 100% cloud cover on the big day

It was spooky sitting out on Dartmoor in the black though.

Cheers,

Fraser.

That's good. Somebody in another board asked me if I know anyone was diving that time. He asked also about the fish behavior during the eclipse? Did you notice anything unusual?
