It's OK, it won't last. I'm off down your way* the weekend after next for a week. So that'll be both weather and vis knackered for a while

(* - Not really your way but Porthkerris beach for a week of OW training )

Hi John,

I am also heading down to Porthkerris from the 8th-15th to train the new batch of BSAC ocean divers from Imperial College. Good luck with the training I always find it completely exhausting but great fun For my money Porthkerris is the best place to train up new divers, particularly if you are in a big group.

I have managed to blag a set of 7's. Carting the 12's up and down that beach would kill me!

Yeah, it does seem to be the best place to do it. Biggest issue is getting blown out on the beach. Know any good alternate sites for those windy days?

Nah, you cart them down once, leave them there, and cart them back up again at the end of the day. Admittedly we don't use boats, and so use the little beach round by the MoD place.

Nah, I'm sure it's in the standards somewhere that I've got to kick the bottom up to demo for the Ocean Diver trainees *

J

* - Before I get really slated, It's a Joke, I've read very carefully the BSAC standards and stick rigidly to what is written.
