Hi! I'm a GUE-F trained diver from Singapore and have been lurking around the forums here for quite a while now. Just thought I should say hi to you folks here and a big THANKS for all the useful information and knowledge I've learned from all the contributors!

Hi there, only been to Singapore once and enjoyed it didn't do any diving though.

Thanks for the welcome, good thing you didn't dive here.... all silt and big ships.... an exceptionally good vis day is about 3m... All that's good in Singapore is above sea-level!

Ah memories, wandering down Orchard Road with the resounding whispers of "Copy Watch ? You wanna buy copy watch?" every 6 ft.

That and having to shut my eyes in the outside lift on the Pan Pacific hotel on the way up to the revolving restaurant, and being so bloody scared I couldn't eat

Fabulous Zoo though and Botantical Gardens.

Jealous ? Moi ? Too right.

My memories, wandering round every proper watch shop on Christmas Eve 1999 trying to find one who will fit me a new watch battery to my Citizen before flying out the next day

Had a lovely few days on the way back though.

hi there. there are a bunch of GUE trained divers in Singapore and Gideon has built up a good base here. we do GUE trips pretty regularly. if you do not already know the group here, get in touch with me and i will put you in touch with them.
