Howdy from Oki

Hey this is a great idea for a forum. I was pleased to see someone post the link.

I'm from the Pacific North West now residing on the island of Okinawa. I started diving March of '92. Done over 2700 dives and still can't seem to get enough.

Have gone from PADI to IANTD to NAUI to NAUI Tech to GUE. Took a ton of courses finally finding my way into the Tech arena. I'm looking forward to getting into cave diving in the next year or two. Certified on Halcyon RB80 and love diving with it!

My favorite place to dive is Yonaguni.

I go by QBU on this forum (from the movie The Abyss) but most people know me as "C"

Hi QBU,

Welcome to the board, I'm sure with your level of experience you'll be a real asset. Don't forget to fill in your location on the DIR World Map - it could prove to be a useful resource if you need to find like minded divers in a particular area.

Hi Al,

Thanks for the welcome. I finally figured out how to use the map. That's a pretty cool idea.

There's a couple of us on the island and we hope to see the numbers grow soon.
