![]() | Hello from the North East US! Hello fellow explorers - I've been diving for slightly over a year, and officially "found" DIR earlier this calendar year. I've been making the transition to the GUE/DIR mindset and while I have quite a ways to go, I've got a never quit attitude and will do what needs to be done to get to that "bar" that has been set. I currently have a DIR-F provisional, but hope to convert it to a pass sometime next spring/summer. I'm not one who cares what cards I carry, but knowing I passed a GUE class will show me that I have at least an understanding of what I need to do to get to where I want to go. I thoroughly enjoy diving in the NE, but warmer waters are singing a siren's song to me, so who knows. I look forward to learning all I can, but most importantly, joining in on the camraderie that we divers share. Great site! |

| Resident purveyor of shiney kit.... | Welcome Boss ![]() Similar to you, I am working to converting my Prov to a full. Feel free to ask whatever you like on here, the experience ranges from GUE Instructors to the merely curious. So you should find the answers or certainly a healthy level of discussion. Enjoy !

| Moderator | Welcome, Fire away with questions - I am sure you will get a ton of good answers. What is really nice, is we are going to get some other suggestions from your UK DIR brothers that some other NE boards don't usually have. Good to see the global responses to DIR. Take Care Eric |
