Warm greetings from Red Sea

Hello to all

At last we have joined the group...

We are an instructor couple living and working in Hurghada (Red Sea, Egypt) for over six years now. We are both Polish but somehow we put down the roots in the egyptian soil...

We started DIR diving some years ago (something around 2004 with some small "push" from our friend in LA) and now we are slowly heading towards the DIR-F instructors

Most of our dives we do in Red Sea - and they are of different nature - working as dive insturctors gives us lots of ... hm ... possibilities and opportunities.

We also test dive equipment (dry suits...yes yes you can dive dry suit in Red Sea ), wings, undergourment for dry suits (check here), lights (also some example of comparing Polish and H products) - and many more - we just have a obsessive drive to "destroy in testing" whatever comes in our hands . Unfortunatelly most of the testing is in Polish - but we slowly work on English "versions".

If any of the forum users would have any questions about the region, diving here, traveling, testing or any other issues - we would be more then happy to help.

Sunny but windy regards,
Dorota & Wojtek

ps. Bart vel Bann is working with us in the same dive center, and the Adly Brothers are also close by.... be aware the Red Sea is comming...hehe

You can have an account each you know - we don't charge

Welcome - the other Red Sea representatives make the boards fun and share their experience willingly - so delighted to see more here - even if I'm jealous of the conditions you get to dive in every day.

Have fun

Hey, you wouldn't be maciek's two polish friends would you?
If so, we dove together at the water park on Catalina Islan -- we got the ferry over and fed peas to the fish!

Good to see you guys here!

no... he just said it is not worth taking a housing for our camera...you know - nothing to see, bad visibility and so on. After first dive he was lucky he was not the first one we came across...

ps. some pictures from our CA visit can be seen here
... you might notice the "uw" picture - the last one...

Like the Ca. pictures. I did my first ever dives off that coastline and the kelp picture brought back some good memories
