Intro

Hi All,

Am relatively new to diving, last couple of years only, but the bug has bitten following two weeks in the Red Sea in February with Red Sea Explorers.

My current base is near Cambridge, but will be in Sheffield for the forseeable future from September. I travel a lot with work and so am on the lookout for diving opportunities across Europe throughout the year. This means that I don't spend much time in the UK, but would like to take a UK Fundamentals course in one of my weeks off. I have odd weeks free in July and August, but cannot make any of the existing courses, so if there is any interest to look into setting something up I am in.

Am pleased to have found this website as a source of reference and point of contact for as much diving as I can squeeze in!!

Welcome Rob. Touch base wth John Kendall, admin of this parish, who lives Cambridge way, he should be able to help you out getting wet with some DIR bods...

Hey Rob, welcome to the board.

There's a DIRF just up the road from you that Chris (whinger) has mentioned running in August. Not sure if you've already spoken to Rich Walker about dates and options (he's also up in this neck of the woods).

Also shout up if you want to get some dives in, there's a few of us up Norf

hi mate,there will be a course the first weekend of august not too far from sheffield if you are interested,your welcome to come and train with us too if you like.
