![]() ![]() | Hello from Columbus Ohio Hi, I've been diving since 2002 and am becoming more and more active. My introduction to GUE was last summer. I bought a lift bag and wanted to watch someone, even if it were a video about how to use the thing. I a guy "shooting a bag" and was amazed at his in water skill. I asked around to find out how he got that kind of skill. I was told that he was a GUE guy. Long story short, I took a Fundies class late last summer and am hooked on the DIR style of diving. It's not just an equipment setup, rather a complete "system" of diving. I bought Brando's old backplate and Pioneer wing and only have 4-5 dives on it so need much more practice but hope to become proficient in water this year. I'm not 100 percent DIR yet because to be honest, I can't afford everything I NEED at the moment, but I'm getting there. I've got a single tank with Pioneer wing, APEX TX100 regs. Now I need a drysuit. (used) ![]() |
