Hi from Minneapolis

Hi, my name is Kirk. I live in Minneapolis. One of the moderators suggested I introduce myself, so here I am. I'm Full Cave, Advanced Trimix, Advanced Wreck. I spend much of the winter in the caves in North Florida, and much of the Summer on the shipwrecks of Lake Superior, with most weekends in the bottom of some iron pit in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Not 100% DIR, but did take the DIR Fundimentals class with Tyler Moon a couple years ago (still like that VR3 on my wrist, and only a couple hoses routed behind my head). - Kirk

Welcome Kirk, nice to see another Minnesotan on the board haha. A small group of divers in more southern Minnesota and I are Adv. Trimix, with one being cave 1, one full cave, and one apprentice cave. I am taking cave 1 this summer hopefully.

Good diving in this sloppy weather! : )

You've reminded me of a couple of great holidays I had with the family years ago out in Minneapolis! I'd love to get back to the Twin Cities Leather and Boot Co if it's still around and stock up on the only kind of DIR-accepted boots
