Arrow Hi From Red Sea

Hi guys,

Looks like this is the place to be, since IMHO the Quest list is D.E.A.D.

I've been diving since I was a kid, since 1986 to be exact. Sometimes on and off, but for the past 6 years or so mostly on

I've never dived anywhere except the Red Sea, so I guess I'm a little spoilt as far as conditions go. Recently I got a drysuit so now I'm looking at the possibility of exploring farther afield in cold, dark waters, such as the mediterranean, adriatic, perhaps even the black sea, etc.

I suppose I could say I have been tech diving for about 15 years, though I shudder when I remember the techniques and gear we used back in 1991

As for DIR diving, I did my first GUE courses in 2004, and last April attended a GUE fundamentals ITC. Since then I've been applying the system to all my diving (and to my lifestyle, though I admit with less success).

Regards,

Welcome Hassan - there is still a place for Quest I think - but it can be fun on here - and there is wealth of expereince and enthusiasm which keep a lot of people coming back.

Have fun
