Viewing DIRx on a PSP Problem

For some reason browsing DIRx on my PSP results in a connection error for every page. After cancelling the error the page seems to display ok, but as soon as you click on a link you get the error again. Doesn't seem to happen on any other websites so I figure it's something specific between DIRx and the PSP.

I need to poke around a bit to see if I can get any useful traces that might help but my wireless access point is also my DSL router so I'm not sure I can get hold of any of the traffic to/from the PSP at my end.

Any idea admins?

Nope - but are you saying DIRx is a virus

When I was running McAfee as a virus scanner on my PC, I had a lot of troubles viewing DIR-X.
As soon as I changed McAfee for another virus scanner, I had no more problems.
So yes, DIR-X and a virus scanner can cause problems.

Neil if you do want to poke about under the covers, then I would try installing Fiddler on a PC, make it accept remote connections, point the PSP to fiddler as it's proxy, and see what happens.

I'll give it a go and see if it's any use

I usually do use a PC - but sometimes I like to have a quick mooch about various sites whilst sat on the sofa. The PSP is handy and quick for that

Frankly if you lot didn't try to make your sites so damned fancy then you wouldn't have half the problems
(...and I'll duck out now before it gets a bit too pot, kettle, black )
