Site doesn't remember me

With various other forums (both scuba and non-scuba related) the site has no problem 'remembering' me, but here I have to key in my username and password every time I visit. It doesn't seem to remember me, even though the little 'remember me' box is checked.

Suggest you delete your cookies then re try. IF that fails I will upload a small utility on the server which will do it for you.

erm.. can I suggest looking for the DIRExplorers cookie file rather than just deleting your cookies - the reason being that if this is done - 'ALL' cookies will be cleared down - i.e. for other sites/forums as well as this one..

Techadmin - what is the name of the cookie file? - or does it not use a cookie file?

next time it does it to you (ie gives you the login box on the front screen) just go to a forum page and see if it then decides you are logged in.

ive spotted it here and on yd a couple of times, you login and it still displays the login boxes, but if you start browsing the forum it remembers you.
