I got virused please help

PLEASE don't click on anything in this post - the links about video is a virus ... How do I get rid of it ? It automatically adds in when I post (does not exist on other forums)

I don't mean to be flippant, but the best solution is to get an Apple computer, we laugh off viruses and don't even bother deleting them.

You can also try an anti-virus software like Norton.

AMEN to that.
Hehe, once had a virus downloaded to my computer (G4). It came out as a text file on my desktop. I sat back and comfortably read the encoding of the virus, then deleted it.

Did you tryied MacaFee? The best way on PC is to formate your hard drive and reinstalle the bull...t making your computer working and try Vista

Or even better buy a G4 Powerbook on Ebay

I use Avast as my Virus checker/cleaner as I find it much better than Norton.

Hope you get it sorted.

iDiveChick, the viruses are coming for Macs soon. Alot of people think that Macs are immune from viruses; it is only because their user base is small and therefore the target isn't that attractive. However, the user base is getting bigger which makes it more interesting to virus writers etc. Nothing is invunerable, just depends on how much effort and work you want to put into it. Windows is 'relatively' easy which is why it has been attacked.

If it's virus, try NOD32: Antivirus Software - Eliminate Spyware and Adware with NOD32 Antivirus from ESET
