| GUE Instructor | Hilde, this is pretty much how we still teach it. However, note that after a recreational (no-decompression) dive you make your first stop at 50% instead of 80%. An 80% deep stop is a bit aggressive for recreational profiles, and you might actually still be ongassing at that depth even though you are ascending. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's now called MGR (Minimum Gas Reserve), and as mentioned above the deco rules for the recreational range now call for the first stop to be shallower. Otherwise there is no reason I can think of to change anything.
