![]() ![]() | Usually, if the dive is under 3 hours, I don't do anything special. I just make sure that I'm well hydrated, well rested and well nourished prior to the dive. On longer dives, my throat gets dry, but since I dive fresh water that's easily cured by just wetting my mouth for a second. I do find that I get low blood sugar on longer dives, and a camel pack of gatorade does help to stay focused and to feel good. I've had no problem doing 5+ hour dives like this, but I can't imagine doing those epic dives like the WKPP or EKPP do. |
