| New Member | what size tanks for tech 2 Hi all just a question , what size tanks do I need for tech 2 - I was told 1 x 80 cu ft and 2 x 40 cu ft , then also told 2 x 80cu ft and 1 x 40 cu ft -which one is it ???, on another note -and move this thread if needs be - how can I stop myself having the feeling of falling forward when I go to do the bottle swap, I'm in a CF200X dry suit , trim and bouyancy is cool , but as I'm moving the bottles around I slip into a flutter kick and try and stop myself tipping over -any help/sugestions ??

| Pinoy ako pinoy | Hi all Just finished Tech 2 with Gid. We did it with 1 80 and 2 40s. Practice the bottle movement and don't push them all the way in front of you will help. Think COG drills, slow down and be deliberate - check depth often and really pause to make your buoyancy set is set before you start.just a question , what size tanks do I need for tech 2 - I was told 1 x 80 cu ft and 2 x 40 cu ft , then also told 2 x 80cu ft and 1 x 40 cu ft -which one is it ???, on another note -and move this thread if needs be - how can I stop myself having the feeling of falling forward when I go to do the bottle swap, I'm in a CF200X dry suit , trim and bouyancy is cool , but as I'm moving the bottles around I slip into a flutter kick and try and stop myself tipping over -any help/sugestions ?? | Pinoy ako pinoy | Lucky you, we'll use 16 or 18 lit. The equipment is unimportant (I did Cave 2 in 104s)- what is important is the situations that your instructor will put you in.BTW there is alway an alternative - I would be happy to arrange another Tech 2 in tropical paradise ![]() Graham
