![]() | Skills Drills - Help Please Hey Everybody, I have a quick question, can you please provide a quick synopsis of what the steps are for each of the following drills? I can't remember if they're in the DIR-F book, don't have it with me, and need to review: S-Drill Modified S-Drill Modified V-Drill I apologize for my ignorance, but hey, that's what I'm tryin' to fix. Thanks! |

I added the breakdown to the notes pages some time after the course - and after having to ask what the steps were again!Quote: (Originally Posted by TomR) S-Drill I'll hold off putting an answer on here in case one of the instructors wants to put the official line up, but can I check whether you're after the full or modified valve drill - and whether it's for a single cylinder or twins?Modified S-Drill Modified V-Drill The full drill (shutdowns) is all about actually turning off valves and switching regs. The modified drill (flow check) is where you would move across your valves and just move them slightly just to make sure they are fully open. No need to apologise, we all have questions and the great thing about this forum is that you'll get answers - sometimes in far more detail than you expected! |
