![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Very usefull link, thank you. It makes me reconsider which equipment to use for my fundies. The "rec level 2" appears to be the intermediate between a "rec fundies pass" and tech diving. For somebody like me, who is relatively new to diving and does not have lots of other cert-cards, this was a logical step anyway. Well, I will decide later what I will do. |

I'm really glad that Tec 3 Required Dive Skill No11 hasn't been altered http://www.gue.com/Training/Standards/index.html 11. Demonstrate the ability to run/retrieve a guideline while scootering. Still haven't worked out how you retrieve a line whilst scootering, can anyone enlighten me But then again, I'm not Tec 3, maybe you get to be Tec 3 by working it out............. ![]() |

That's no problem for a diver ![]() 400 (yards per minute) = 1200 feet per minute = 11.849676 knots scootering is only around 200fpm / 2 knots... and i think you need a 78 foot long waterline to get a 11.85 knot hull speed in a displacement hull? |
