![]() | Why do you think us men go diving? Underwater is one of the few places we can't hear you wittering on as usual. Anyway, what are you doing using the computer without the supervision of a man? Far too complicated for your timid brains - put the keyboard down luv, you may do the computer an injury...

What was funny though, was that the winner was the youngest & the blondest. So not only are we better/fine/accomplished divers, we are also prettier too!! I rarely get upset with the MCP diver - because at the end of the day, I love to prove him right - and I will ask him to carry my kit!! The twin 12's usually sort the men from the boys :D Dianne |

It takes more than a few of the 'old-types' to upset the modern Miss/Ms/Mrs. If they really want to get to us, they have to think up some new stuff - the typical "make my tea, and you are crap @ IT" is funny in the way that it is so obviously politically incorrect (which always makes me laugh and one of the reasons that 'Open All Hours' is one of my favourite programmes) - however there are some sad men out there that truly believe that women are inferior (weaker I accept, because physically we usually are). However in the DIR forum, if a woman is a genuine DIR diver, she is pretty likely to be a bloody good diver (present company excepted, but I am working on it) and the same goes for the men too. I can honestly say hand on heart that I've dived with women who are better in the water than a lot of blokes. But as I keep pointing out to them "They're not proper women " I normally get slapped at that point ![]() Quote: What was refreshing recently, was that one of the magazines had a competition to find the best buddy and it was remarkable the number of men who nominated their female buddy (not neccessariliy their partner) for a variety of good reasons. I'm not surprised in the slightest and it's obvious why when you think about it. Am I going to vote for some hairy arsed mate as my best buddy or the hot totty who strips to her undies when she gets changed. :DQuote: I rarely get upset with the MCP diver - because at the end of the day, I love to prove him right - and I will ask him to carry my kit!! Some young newly qualified male divers are full of bravado and wouldn't admit to be uncomfortable with something on a dive, they are immortal and know it all. Where as the young ladies I have the pleasure of assisting on courses are usually very honest, very safety conscious and very aware buddies.Dianne The older women divers are usually old trouts though ![]() Daz |
