![]() | Gas mix application for Java phones I have made a small Java gas mixer aplication for cellphones. When mixing gas in the compresser room in the dive club, on a boat etc. the phone is in your pocket anyway. It is not perfect yet, but definitely useable. If you want to try it out, please download and install on your phone: http://robo.dk/JMix/JMix.jad http://robo.dk/JMix/JMix.jar How to install depends on your phone. Try pointing the phones browser to the URLs abowe, or use PC phone manager application, that came with the phone. Of course the usual disclaimer apply: "This application is probably full of errors. If you dive with gas you mix using this application, you will probably die!" Rememebr to analyze your gas ;-) I will appreciate any feedback and suggestions for improvements. /Lau |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Open Source? Do you use real gas calculations or ideal gas? You may find this link useful: Real gas blending - the real deal

![]() | Open Source? I have absolutely no interest in trying to make any money on this application. And the only reason i have not posted the source code is, that i have not had the time to think about license (GPL?) and where to post it. I have been thinking about implementing real gas laws in the application. However i do not believe that it makes any practical difference. Personally i have a good feel of the fudge factors involved in gas blending using ideal gas laws. However I am an engineer, and just for the satisfaction of calculating things correctly i am considering adding the option of using real gas laws to the program. /Lau |
