| Padawan learner | Also what kind on depths are you looking at? I'm guessing ~55m but not 100% clear of it's location.

| New Member | I think not Sounds like a nice multilevel dive Wishful thinking No it won't..Period ......It will need to sink naturally or with the help of explosives etc ...As Authorities will not allow a partly submerged vessel drifting or otherwise near major shipping lane |

![]() | Sounds like a nice multilevel dive Hehe. Bit of an update on that one - what you refer to as 'partly submerged' is no longer 'partly'... Wishful thinking No it won't..Period ......It will need to sink naturally or with the help of explosives etc ...As Authorities will not allow a partly submerged vessel drifting or otherwise near major shipping lane This from the BBC news website... "It settled about 26 miles (42km) south-south east of Portland Bill, with its stern settling on the sea bed and her bow out of the water. It has since completely gone underwater. " Roll on the summer! ![]()

![]() | Also what kind on depths are you looking at? I'm guessing ~55m but not 100% clear of it's location. The depth in that area is around 60 - 65m. However, if its sitting upright it will probably stand about 40m off the sea bed. I can't imagine they would leave something that large sitting in such relatively shallow water. |
