Great pictures Gary - now give us a write up about the suit - I think there are quite a few waiting to hear what you think.....

Dry suits look good. Don't supose you can make it down to Stoney on the 8th Jan - it would be good to see one against the TLS

Tis a good looking suit there Gary.

A couple of questions.
Did you get it mtm? If so did you send your sizes or go and see him? Did he get it right first time? Anything you're not happy with? Why didn't I buy one of those instead of a Polar Bear?

Suits were MTM.

Ian Clayton the owner of Protec sent us sizing charts then arranged to meet up in person to make measurements. Checking our measurements and resizing with under suits for perfect fit.

Ian also brought along similar size suits to try dive in to get the feel of the suit and make a informed decision as to whether to continue with the purchase.

We discussed any extras or alterations required, trim colour, pocket placement and material for suit etc.
We choose lightweight 240gsm nylon trilaminate very similar to the TLS and Gates neoprene boots.

Suits were then made to order and delivered within 10 days! Now that’s customer service. :D

Ian was and still is a pleasure to deal with and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure your requirements are met and advises fully on all aspects of the fit and manufacture of the suit.

Details:-

Review:-
http://www.divernet.com/equipment/0705divertests.shtml#top

Personally it is the most comfortable suit I have worn - In fact its so comfortable it could be worn on a night out

Comparison to a TLS, never worn one so unable to give inforamtionon this.

In water the suit performed flawlessly, no leaks, very little air migration, dump valve and inflation valve worked perfectly. I felt like I was diving only in my under suit.

Highly recommended and a excellent price.

Pissin on a bonfire

This is my Opinion...FWIW..And dont start Jumping up and down FFS about my views .I know Ian and his wife very very well and my Wife has one of his
suits as do Many of the people I dive with and they are Very good COPIES indeed and thats what it is a COPY...however they are not as good as a TLS..IMVHO

I had the chance to get one and didn't And choose a TLS
main bits i wasn't too convinced with was .......................

The boots Gates...not as good as the turbo soles..finning techniques etc

the material ..however way you dress it up the material of the suit is no way as flexible /pliable as a TLS
I got a TLS on the grey market for 900 quid fully spec and at the end of the day it was a saving of £200...TLS Won

For all that It is a good suit and would recommend one ..seem the best copy so far ..its just for me the TLS Edged it

And Ian is a great guy to deal with as Gary mentioned and service is excellent also

Andy
