![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Gas in the Oxfordshire area Hullo, This has been discussed after dives before but in the hopes someone on here might have more information than people I've already spoken to - can anyone recommend a diveshop within reach of Oxford who will do nitrox and/or mix fills on a not too long timeframe (ie, within an hour or two so you don't have to make two journeys) ? Since moving I've managed to juggle my fills post-dive to not have to get fills near home, but this has now failed me. At a pinch, I guess Wraysbury is not too far away. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Tim |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Let me know how you get on Tim. Perhaps we can try and help each other out with transporting cylinders to get fills. The lack of any decent dive shop in the area is probably 1 of the reasons I don't dive as frequently now! andy |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Apart from the long distance it went well! Dropped off at about 1pm and picked up at 4.30pm, though they only guaranteed a 24 hour turnaround if the shop was busy. Accurate fills, friendly and straightforward service. Some pooling of transport for getting fills might well be a good idea as 100 mile round trips add on a bit in terms of fuel costs and time! Tim |

| GUE Instructor Site Admin | What about Reading - it's about 25 miles and there are two reasonable shops there. I use Mikes for Nitrox and Trimix - tend to give them a call and say I'm coming over and they do it while I wait (or I give them a hand).

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Also Milton Keynes - both DiveCentral and Divercity will do Nitrox and DiveCentral will do Trimix. Bit further I guess at around 35 miles but you may be able to bribe someone who lives nearby. I regularly use Divercity for Nitrox and they will let me fill my own if I am certified - which is something I keep meaning to do
