![]() ![]() | Fun with Recompression Chambers. . . We have an annual Chamber Washdown Party at the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber, where we test the Overhead Sprinklers and Fire Hose System: all while simulating an AGE treatment with Fire Drill at an equivalent pressure/depth of 49.5 meters. Since the entire interior of the Chamber becomes soaked, we also do the major wash & clean of the inside as well (except everybody is so narced, it all just turns into one big fun water fight ).OTOH, for a real treatment at that depth --performing CPR on a victim in full Cardiorespiratory Arrest for example-- it's very difficult to concentrate because of the narcosis and you begin to fatigue quickly because of the Heat of Compression (well over 37 deg C inside the Chamber). . . ![]()
