So what did you get for Christmas?

I have had diving christmas presents for the last two years but this year I didn't - as there was nothing left to buy I guess (although I have ordered a new undersuit from Marcin).

Lots of chocolate, a leather jacket, CDs and books this time. What about you?

No diving bits unless you count what I bought myself (Aquatica S2 Housing, Sigma 10-20mm and 8" dome port)

However, I did get a Bluetooth GPS receiver to work with TomTom6 and my Orange M600 and a book on wedding photography from the kids (doing 4 weddings this year).

I have some diving Points of Interest but I am going to start a thread about Lat/Longs for Dive Sites so that people can load them into their TT's or similar. I will try and create 2 POI files, one for Europe (TT6 covers Europe) and a POI file for the Rest of the World.

Regards

A U-352 poster from here. I'm sure a few of you have probably seen it before. Now I just need to get it framed...

And last but not least, a Photon-Torpedo LED.

I only got one scuba-related and one partially scuba-related thing this year. The scuba thing was the Dive X-tras wetnotes setup (I'm too cheap to pay that much for writing paper, so I had my husband do it for me ). The partially scuba-related was a small Olympus point-and-shoot camera to replace the Minolta Dimage I drowned this summer. It's AMAZING how tiny this camera is!

Almost all of my husband's Christmas was diving gear -- go figure.

A shiny new Dell laptop for when I go off to America to study next year and can't take my normal PC. Also had plenty of books, chocs and clothes. No dive gear but I'm not diving much at the moment.

Best present is tomorrow though when my fiancee comes over from the States for two whole weeks. It will be lovely to spend time being all romantic and such and we're even taking a break in Paris for her birthday.....aaaah

Remy Martin, chocolats and new sunglasses.
And the best gift I bought myself: laser surgery for my eyes, so also new dive goggles :-)))

I really like this gift, life with spectacles is realy nice, certainly when I get back to diving in 3 weeks. Not diving is the worst part of the operation.

You can't buy love, hapiness but maybe health

I got to spend it sorting out the outlaws PC - after stupidly buying them some technology, installing it and finding a whole years worth of 'issues' prior to me being able to install it.

that started yesterday and has continued most of today. Christmas? when?

though I did get 60 bottles of festival strength Pear cider...

Smile

Hi,

I bought myself a Rock Direct Xtreme CTX Pro laptop and I received a Halcyon yellow mini DSMB, Band Of Brothers DVDs, key-ring kite, CD.

I have also bought a Gavin and a very nice watch this year which could be counted as early pressies to myself.

My three year old got far more for Christmas than I did.

Best regards,

Mark.
