| Padawan learner | It measures the condition of the HP seat. It basicallly give an Ok/Needs service message as far as i know. I only saw one on some kit on holiday.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | As an Apex Service Technician I had one in my hands at the start of the year.....Naturally, I took it apart! They do indeed give a visual indication of middle pressure and are quite clever in design. The down side is that the body is slightly longer to accomodate the "new technology". As to being DIR, not really but weīre not the intended market. If it allows a novice or a holiday diver to see something is wrong BEFORE he gets in the water, it canīt be all bad. I worry a little though that it might be treated as a Service guide ie. keep diving the reg beyond itīs service interval because the display says everything is ok. ATB Devon Rob
