Problem with Aladin G2's?

I have done about 40 dives with the G2 and now the left button has stopped working. Press it and it goes down, stays down and does nothing.

The way the button depresses down through an exposed area into the unit looks like it be a weak point in the units. Seems as though Uwatec may have dropped a bollock on the design of the buttons on the G2.

Anyone else experienced this?

Right now it's slightly less useful than my forty quid Uwatec BT - at least I can access the log info on the old one...

no, but the button housing looks just like the old tech and the prime... except the tacky chrominess

It's the tacky chrome buttons that seem to be the problem...
