Do I need help??

It's been a while since I've dived so before I venture to Stoney this weekend I've been checking my kit out. In particular I've checked out things like bolt-snaps on lights and guages etc and what I have in spares bag.

So, every bolt snap is in its correct place for my regs, torches, spare set of regs for single tanks, deco tank set etc and then I checked the spares bag

I have no less than 7 bolt snaps and 5 double-enders of varying sizes in my spares bag and I have to question myself. -WHY FFS ???

Why have I been seduced by a number of kit suppliers into buying so many items of glittery bits?

Am I unusual? Do I need help and if so please recommend therapists. Or is this as a result of normal behaviour of a GUE trained diver?

Your counsel will be much appreciated!

Sounds about right to me!

I do keep losing the snap on the goodman handle of my light. Seems the cave line gets cut through really easily on there. I was tidying my kit the other night and noticed it was barely hanging on again

If you saw my shed and spare bedroom, you'd think we all need a therapy session or two. :D

7 spare boltsnaps is a little excessive mate, mind you we need several different sizes for different jobs, so different sized spares... I like a few spare double enders and usually have maybe 2 in my left pocket.

Oh and I can recommend a good therapist for your shiny kit fetish.

Calling Dr Phill Nakkers...

Frase.

He's not that kind of therapist Fraser, he specialises in helping folk who are unfortunate enough to feel attached to money :D

Sorry

The Knackers doctor can't help me here - he has too many shiney dangly bits and he has a link to my bank account by telekinesis.

Everybody who believes in telekinesis raise MY right arm now

I've got two 3/4" SS boltsnaps . . . in the bottom of my PURSE. Do I think I'm desperately going to need to clip something off in the car? Or is bolt-snap acquisition something that becomes an obsession, like gambling?
