I know this is just under a year away, however, wanted to see if there would be any interest on this forum.

I will be teaching a GUE Fundy class with Christophe Le Maillot as part of my IE in July 2011. The date is set for 13th-16th July 2011. If anyone is interested in attending please PM me.

Best, Renato

Hi,

Myself and other are looking at moving on from our AN/DP diving into trimix. Not being to content with what we have experienced in our AN/DP and favouring the content in the tech-1 over the EXT/TMX course, we are going to start entering into the GUE curriculum.

So, that being said. We are looking at doing the fundies course next year and seeing as we have to a) travel to a location and b) organise for an instructor, we might as well do it somewhere nice.

We can't see the point in going to a real blow your socks location and spend the time doing training (we were looking at Monado or Coron) so we are looking at somewhere nice-ish and not to much of a travel, has a holiday feel about it, caters for diving and can support techdiving. Being in Western Australia, Bali ticks those all of those for us.

Where do we go from here lining up an instructor etc? Anyone have recommendations for instructors, dive shops, resorts etc?

We are looking of doing this around July 2011 so should really start the ball rolling soon. I think fundies can be done with 2 people but we should be able to gang press another diver into joining.

We are serious about this and not just kicking the tires and would like to get things moving so we can start communicating with our instructor in regards to gear and prestudy and starting with a view of going onto tech-1 at some stage in the future

Thanks all

oh..and bali 'cause we want to do a UW photography course there as well, maybe around tulamben.

Hi,

I have 1 space left on a Tech 1 class. South coast UK, with a bit of a twist. If you're interested, please drop me a line and I'll explain the twist. The twist is very nice, by the way.

Best wishes,
