![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | who sets the price for instruction? the lds went from $900.00 to $1200.00 for their tech I and tech II classes. when I asked why over 30% price increase I was told that the prices are set by gue headquarters and all instructors have to comply with this. the instructor would be local. is this true or is the lds bs'ing me? |

The only local GUE Tech 2 instructor in your neck of the woods is JJ and he is more like $1500 per class.when I asked why over 30% price increase I was told that the prices are set by gue headquarters and all instructors have to comply with this. the instructor would be local. is this true or is the lds bs'ing me? http://www.gue.com/Training/Instructors/index.html

| Padawan learner | very possibly true. I don't know for sure but i don't think GUE want's anyone discounting their courses as it then starts to devalue thair training. There is a big chunk in the DIR book about this.

Not likely that your LDS will reduce the price (not increase) of the courses.I am not sure about T1 classes. I forgot how much we paid last year but I do know that the T2 course is 1500 from JJ. No one else could give you T2 in Florida and call themselves a local instructor. They may bring in someone from outside the area and they may charge 1200 as I know JJ is higher priced than any other GUE instructor.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | there must be someone, an instructor or a lds owner who knows the answer. do gue instructors set there own price for training or does gue headquarters set the price for them and they have to comply? then let's go with just tech I and if the second would be true it would cost the same everywhere you can take tech I. another way to find out: how much does Tech I cost in your area, instruction cost only, no equipment, gas fills, boat rides, travel expenses etc. etc. here in SF $1200.00 |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi all, GUE HQ does not control the how the individual Instructor set his/her price regarding their classes. However the idea is not to compete with the lowest cost rather the highest quality. The average price for T1 training will be $1300 per student during 2006. Some charge a bit less some more. For the T2 the price is ranging from $1300 to $1500 per student. Take care, Richard Lundgren |
