Tech 2 class in Malin Head - Ireland

Hi,

I would like to organize Tech2 class in Malin Head next year in April/May. I'm seeking skilled, educated and experienced instructor that is committed to the students and the profession he serves. The instructor has to be 100% professional with excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills and with strong ability to motivate and teach students. The instructor must have appropriate diving experience.

I would like to make sure that students attending this class will receive appropriate education and the class will represent state of art which means the top quality.

There are RMS Justicia, Empire Heritage, HMS Audacious, U-155 and many others challenging wrecks that can be visited.

Also seeking an assistant with appropriate experience that will help the instructor during the class.

This course will hold 3 students max. If you want to come over and join this course let me know. I can offer free accommodation, free oxygen, free clean air top up. Helium will be shared between the participants but wont harm. Twinsets and Ali stages are avalailable and are also for free.

Best,
Frank

Thanks for pointing this out. Will read this report. I'm seeking quality and would like to ensure that I receive good return on money spent. Will continue with GUE training but will consider taking a class with Andrew in the near future as well. He has got very good rating as an Instructor.

Best,
Frank

If you're thinking about GUE then there's only 8 of them that teach at that level: 3 in USA, 1 in Canada, 1 in Asia and 3 in Europe. I believe all of them have sufficient diving experiance. I gues that easiest way is to contact them and check their availability.

Thanks for the info. Sufficient experience is required but is not enough in this case. I have specified my minimum expectations above. Don't want to end up wasting my time, energy and money with someone who could easily be called "money taker". I have already burned my fingers so I'm bit more careful while choosing Instructors for my courses. I'm not interested in average performance.

Who of the 8 available on the market can meet following specs?

Seeking skilled, educated and experienced instructor that is committed to the students and the profession he serves. The instructor has to be 100% professional with excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills and with strong ability to motivate and teach students. Good Instructor must also know how to present information to a diverse group of students.

You can PM me if you are scarred answering such sensitive question.

Best,
Frank

In some ocasions PM would be more appropriate way for sharing such info. However, I can say that Mr. Mario Arena (my Tech-2 instructor) IMHO fulfills the above requirements.

I guess you've completed GUE Tech-1, so it was with one of these 8 people or additional 5 that teach up to Tech-1 level. If we exclude 4 of these as very remote, it ends up that you probably did Tech-1 with one of these that teaches Tech-2 as well. If you seek another person for Tech-2, I can only conclude that this person didn't fulfill your criteria during class. Am I correct?

Regarding "burning your fingers", does this apply to any of GUE instructors or instructors in general? You can PM this answer

Best regards,
Emir

Thanks Gareth, I have provided appropriate answer via PM ;-)

BTW: Those are not comments, this is simple request that every CUSTOMER has the RIGHT for. I'm counting 2 appropriate answers where Instructors were recommended. Thanks to Indeep and MonkSeal for being honest.

Best,
Frank
