| GUE Instructor | Have any of you girls considered consolidating the information on this post, along with refrences and supply points, etc. in order to make a small manual for aspiring female technical divers? Whenever the P-valve discussion comes up with female students I usually just give them this link, yet I still see an appriciating need for something even more clear-cut to follow. Furthermore such a guideline might serve as a motivator for Halcyon, Salvo etc. to sort out more practical product support for female users of their overboard discharge system. ![]() In any case, I applaud you brave explorers and urge you to help those who follow - I have enough explaining the finer techniques to the guys!

![]() | A friend of mine was about to do a manual about the topic. Don't know, whether it's already complete. I'll ask her... That was me... But no, I haven´t completed the text yet - I am working on it. But I already have a kind of standardtext, that I sent to every girl, that needs help with the topic. And Jarrod Jablonski already sent girls to me to ask...I will post it here, when it is ready, but can´t promise when that will be. Greetings, Jutta |

| New Member | Hallo everybody!!! Winter’s coming and I ‘d really like to have some help about considering using a p- valve So I pick up this old post and ask all of you girls if there is some of you who can help! Thank you! :-) What kind of help do you need - installation or general female pvalve questions? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hallo everybody!!! Hi Loredana,Winter’s coming and I ‘d really like to have some help about considering using a p- valve So I pick up this old post and ask all of you girls if there is some of you who can help! Thank you! :-) There is one method which might be less "difficult" than methods that have been explained above. I personally haven't tried it for obvious reasons so I can't 100% vouch for its effectiveness. This is one of the few things I have difficulty explaining to girls, so perhaps it's best to let pictures do the talking: + + For the thing in the middle you can try: Hollister Female Urinary Pouch: COS Medical, Inc.

Thank you! :-) What kind of help do you need - installation or general female pvalve questions? ehm..... Both..I suppose!I mean I really do not know if I want to use a p valve or not...so I may need the pros and contras the use of it...Till now it has not been necessary for me.I can handle a run time of about 60/70 minutes..but as run time increases and water is getting colder I am wondering if it is worth to use a p valve or start to use diapers.... And then..If I am convinced and want to try to use it, who is going to put in on my drysuit?? who could I ask about this?...... ![]() |
