| . | No-one made any mention of TDaves birthday btw ? I assume he was suitably horrified when you lot turned up going Ha, horrified is a bit much, but shocked, definitely, although by the time the guys arrived I thing I was a bit drained to really react - we'd just got in from the last safari a few hours earlier and spent that time frantically putting doubles and stages together for what I thought was another boatload of Russian guests...![]() But, it also made for an extremely pleasant week both myself and the crew as a whole being surrounded by such a nice group, most of whom I'd met before, even if only briefly, and having solid divers in the water always helps in us having a fun week and actually being able to just go diving!! So, thanks for that! All the crew are already asking when you guys are going to be coming back out again and look forward to it - so make it soon! :-) Cheers.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi All, So I am finally out of the water and on land long enough to write this thank you note for all the guys who joined the Dave Willo Gang of the Sept 22 Safari. Fist I would like to thank you all for the nice words and the great comments about our operation. It was really a joy for us to have on board and we are looking forward to seeing you all again next year. As many of you mentioned, Andrew, me and the team all gave our best during this trip as we where very excited to have you on board. First everybody was on the same page and it made our job a lot easier. Second the entire group constantly had a smile on their face and that made the entire experience very pleasant. It was really like a musical symphony, at the same time we had anything from a snorkler to a tech 1 level diver in the water. People doing intro dives, people in their open water course, people on scooters, people at 60 meters on a wreck, people playing with a Oceanic white tip under the boat, people on the boat attending some decompression workshop, people watching the educational videos that have been developed by the Red Sea Explorers Team and finally some people just hanging out on the top deck having a beer. This is the exact picture Andrew and I wanted to paint when we started the Red Sea Explorers project. The idea is to have a fun loaded boat that works as a educational facility / exploration platform for all the people that come onboard. We aim to have everyone leave the boat having gained something or learned something or just simply experienced something they have never experienced before. It was great to see a lot of this happen during this trip. Again thank you all for the nice words you said about us. We hope to see you all again next year. The MV Tala is going to Dry Dock end November for two months and will be fixed up and fitted out with a lot of improvements and changes. Also the arsenal of toys like scooters, video equipment and tech gear is going to be ssooped up with mnay surprised coming soon. We promise you an even more magical experience in 2007. From The Red Sea Explorers Team and myself , all our best. Faisal Khalaf |
