Stoney 11th or 12th Mar?

Just got my evolve and I'm hoping to have some new Heisers to play with (knackers permitting), so does anyone want to come out to play?

Happy to do some skills and just have a bimble.

I fancy it mate, but I'm taking t'missus away to make up for a stack of dive weekends :D

Good luck with the evolve - I had a play with Rich's and I definitely found it a nicer wing than the explorer. Still tipping slightly head-down though, so might need a tail weight

I'd be up for a dive on Saturday 11th, as fingers crossed I should have a new Protec Explorer drysuit to play with by the end of the week. Lots of weight and trim playing needed, and it would suit me (no pun intended) to be at Stoney in case the foot pockets of my tutle fins feel like a couple of dustbins and I need to pick up some jetfins.

Even if there is a hiccup with my suit (I've asked for enough customisations, including getting Dan at SDS Watersports to fit turbo soles to it, so it's possible), I'll still be up for a dive in my old suit, now (after about 50 dives in my current rig) I've finally got it trimmed out right.

Count me in!

That means I've still got 40 odd dives to go before I get my twins rig trimmed properly.

Not if you're less of a muppet than I am. I bought a tail weight about 8 months ago, but never really used it, as everyone told me I should be able to get my trim right with just my body position. I worked and worked and worked at this, and nearly got there, but not quite. Then I added the tail weight, and now trim is eeeeasy*. Should have started using it a long time ago!

*(well, it feels easy - I might be in for a surprise when someone takes a proper look or I get filmed)
