![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've ordered one of these to use as an argon hose...I'll see how it copes with the wear and tear Hi Bob, is that a hose that "suffers" on your rig? I´m assuming that you strap to your BG and as I´ve little experience of that position, I´d be interested to know. ATB Rob

Routing is under the waist strap and it always tends to be the one which gets trodden on or dragged in the mud.Bob |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I saw my hoses are starting to show signs of wear. As I dive DS4's with doubles (usually D7), the routing is quite hard on the hoses. I saw these the other day, and I like the idea. Any news or feed back on them? When do you know it's time to change them?

![]() ![]() ![]() | I have these on my necklace and 7'. I have only been diving them for about 20 dives. I really like the necklace as the I think it won't bulge like my last ones have at the DS4 connection. My jury is still out on the 7'. It seems a little "floaty" but maybe not. I am not sure that the 7' is greatly worth it to me, but time will tell. I mean, it also routs out of a DS4 ![]() I will only know it a while. Chris |

![]() | Do a search on thedecostop for Miflex. Quite a few people there have tried them and have discussed the pros and cons quite extensively.

![]() | They are as described from others very soft and flexible. They are giving a smoother routing. When bended the flow does not change. I use them on DS4 with back up reg and inflator and also on Argon. If you travel a lot a complete set of low pressure hoses can reduce the weight with around 200g. The life time of a hose is longer, taking the materials in consideration. I can’t give estimated time. But will look in to it. TZ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, I decided I wanted to try them out on 2 of my hoses; namely on the 2 hoses that get most strain. As I dive apeks DS4's this would be the backup-reg-hose and the wing inflator. And then I ran into the problem of where to buy them. A LDS only has standard sizes, and did not seem very enthusiastic or hopefull to order them I started searching the net. Not that much succes,a s the 1 place I found selling them, did not sell miflex inflator hoses... Any suggestions (or just PM me)? preferably in Britain (good because of strong Euro) or at least another EU country (otherwise I'll be charged huge amounts of taxes).

![]() | Hi, I bought my MilFlex-hoses (Longhose, Backup and Inflator) at Mike's shop (MDS - Tauchcenter Rostock Einfach Mee(h)r erleben! - Home). At least he is located in EU. AFAIK he has 210cm, 56cm LP and 56cm Inflator (in pretty blue) on stock. Regards |
