![]() | Thats why I got a "mmm.. nice beaver" neoprene strap for my mask rather than a regular halcyon ![]() But how do you go about ordering with a heavier material? (can't specify it in their advanced selection menu) do they use cordura for that or just another layer of what they allready use? |

![]() | sorries for the thread-necromancy, but I'm in the process of ordering myself a seaskin-suit, and noticed in one of the dump-valve was placed a bit high on the arm? - Is that so (ie: might dump unintenionally when open and horizontal), or is it just the pic? |

'High' up or around![]() I asked for the placement there for 2 reasons Fistly, When horizontal the valve faces the surface with your arm reaching forward, not sure if it is that important. and also to stop the valve from catching on the harness webbing when donning/doffing. Works OK though ![]() |

![]() | yes, high up as in facing straight up when vertical instead of slightly angeled forwards. - Just wondered if it was standard for seaskin or if the placement was specificly ordered. - I prefer to have the dumpvalve tilting slightly forward/down, so that I can keep it fully open and adjust the ammount of air in the suit with a shrug og slight tilt while swimming. - If I were to keep the valve open when placed 'on top of the arm', I strongly suspect that air would flow freely from the suit when horizontal(?) |

![]() | just ordered my seaskin - 2/2 nylon, halcyon pockets, some other features. standard rubber/latex boots etc. Didn't see much point in going fer the socks - ammount of air would have been reduced ,but shouldnt be any differance in flexibility or insulation. - I'll be back with some info bout the suit and the order-process once I've recived it and had the time to have a ddecent look at the build. |

![]() | Got the suit quite recently (2months+ for delivery... very uncool of Seaskin)- doing quite a bit of diving with it these days, so I'll post pics and stuff when I feel that it has been properly tested (which is a poor excuse for simply being seriously lazy) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Service Comments I can't vouch for the suits - but I can strongly comment positively on the service from Seaskin. I was in a bind as I popped a wrist seal on my TLS350 last week. With express post at both ends Seaskin were able to turn around in a hurry to help me out before I go on a trip next week. Work done -
I was particularly thankful because it
