![]() | I used regular 2" "weightbelt material"...Mine is from beaver which cost 1€/meter at my LDS (yes I know I was robbed)...If you´re too lazy to make a hole in your harness for the tanks/STA to slot thru, you can buy them ready-made in 5m lengths... |

![]() ![]() | Hi all, Thanks for the answers, yes I do have all the hardware I just need the webbing - and unfortunately I think the shipping from Southern California might be a bit expensive for 5 metres of webbing... I've put the old 2 piece harness back on the rig for tomorrow's dives in Dosthill with my mCCR buddy, but I have done a new crotch strap out of the webbing I received this week, and very comfy it is too. I'll order some heavier duty stuff next week, I have no doubt. Once again cheers all and silver incoming. Noel

![]() ![]() | You could always try Digger, I know he had some fairly rigid webbing that he was selling a while ago, if I remember right it was police issue for their equipment belts. Andy

| GUE Instructor Site Admin | No. Never. They also wouldn't tighten up by mistake, making it impossible to pull the buckle through, either. You certainly wouldn't damage your suit with snips as you're cutting yourself out because the stupid cheap (free) soft webbing was catching the buckle. You'd then certainly not get out of the water very fast indeed as the March English Channel poured into the new hole in your suit. PMSL!!!! - I wasn't talking about you Mark - but more ammunition is always helpful I certainly wouldn't. Well, not again. Clare's right; buying a ready-made crotch strap is a Good Idea. I have one. Now. ![]() Noel - Woz had some great webbing last year.
